I'm interested
in the stories behind the stories; how the elements,variants, and pieces come together to make a whole and tell a story that moves me at that particular moment ­ in connections between things and how they all influence each other.

Much of my work is about pieces that come together - collage, mosaic... Trying to make sense of visuals, emotions, events, conversation, cultural and familial input, I¹m continually trying to understand and compose these elements ­ in life as in art.

The digital work comes from an inner landscape ­ where
meaning is felt before knowing it. Images come together in unexpected order at times.

The pastels and ceramics offer ³relief² at times in their simplicity. They are straight-forward statements in singular media, requiring a linear translation from fingertips to form.

I'm interested
in how events can turn on a dime because one tiny element changed, and an enormous movement is finally set free.

I use the work to explore personal areas of my life with the belief that the personal is universal.
